Follow me!

Yeah, yeah, yeah... We all know that Google Friend Connect is probably going to dissapear and we are scared about losing everything. If this happens I'm personally screwed because I always see my favorite blogs latest posts at Blogger.com even tough I get the Bloglovin's Daily Feed email all the time.

Luckily, there are other social networks to follow blogs. Like previously mentioned, Bloglovin is a great way and is the one I'm going to start using from now on.
You can follow my blog on Bloglovin' by clicking the picture and then 'following' or just click the Bloglovin' link on the right side bar in my blog.

Victoria Secrets Glossy Tint Lip Sheen | Review

Happy Monday ladies! Today I'll be reviewing these Victoria Secrets lippies that remind me a lot of my Clinique Chubby Sticks... but are they the same?

Being used to wear the Clinique Chubby Sticks I was expecting that these Victoria Secrets Glossy Lip Tints Sheen ($9) are a bit pigmented and also nourishing and they did not dissapoint me at all.
These VS lippies are more moisturizing than any other chubby sticks I've tried before and more pigmented than the regular Clinique Chubby Sticks. However, they are less pigmented than the Clinique Chubby Sticks Intense, but definitely more nourising and they feel softer on the lips. They also have a beautiful non sticky glossy finish that makes my small lips look bigger without looking like a streetwalker.

Bourdoir Pink is shimmery milky nude with peach undertones. It's a perfect match for bold eye looks but I love to wear it in the mornings... I feel like it wakes up my lips if that makes any sense!
Knockout Red is a blue based red that is very bright and pigmented. I'd say this one is as pigmented as the Clinique Chubby Sticks Intense but this one is definitely brighter and glossier. A gorgeous day time lipstick.
And I decided to leave the house with Knockout Red!

After leaving the house I found that the only con they have is that they don't last for too long. If you eat something they will be gone easily. But wait! there is another pro, these lipsticks are $9 each one but you can get 4 for $20 (including other make up products like blushes).

Overall I have to say I'm impressed! I love VS make up bags and clothes but I wasn't expecting too much of their make up products. I've also tried some blushes and lip glosses and they are lovely as well :)

Do you own any VS make up? What experiences did you have?

Buen Lunes chicas!

Probaron algun make up de Victoria Secrets? Que tal les fue?

NAILS | Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy Supernova

This is the kind of nail polish that you wanna get even if you don't know how it will look like. The packaging is simple and smart, just like everything should be.
Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Supernova is a duo nail polish that has  a  dark green-ish grey creamy colour on one side and  flakie holographic angular shaped glitter top coat on the other.
I am a bit too lazy when it comes to play with glitter nail polish so this is the first time that I use it even if I bought it three months ago at Walgreens ($8.99). I think it's a gorgeous option for autumn/winter and it is very easy to apply!
I've applied two layers of the green-ish grey color that took less than 4 minutes to dry up and only one of the glitter top coat and I think the results are pretty good. A few hours later I applied normal top coat and I took a pic with flash so you guys could see how it looks in the night. Isn't it lovely?

Have you tried these Revlon Moon Candy nail polishes? What are your thoughts?

All About Primers for Dry, Normal, Combination and Oily Skin

Hi beauties! I've been meaning to do this post for a while now but I am really busy these days, it's kinda hard  to get used to work, go to the gym and then having some time to blog without falling asleep!

So let's talk about primers. A face primer is a cream, a gel or a lotion that is applied before foundation or concealer to improve  the texture of the skin and make our foundation last longer. Depending our skin type the primer can illuminate, moisturize and/or matify the skin.

I particulary have very oily skin and huge pores so I always look for oil-free primers that minimize my pores and help my foundation last longer. Here are a few pictures of how my sisters skin looks like without primer and with primers, I'm sorry I could not take pictures of my own skin but it's hard to take auto-pics of my pores.

Hola beauties!

My sister has combination skin and her T-zone is very oily. Also, she has big pores (not as big as mine!) so she definitely needs something that control the oils from her face and soothes her pores. These are the primers we tried on her skin:

NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer #684 ($3.99): As you can see in both pictures, this is an illuminating primer best suitable on dry to normal skin. It's got mineral oil and feels very lightweight and moisturizing. Skin feels definitely softer but it can get a bit greasy. It doesn't help soothing pores or controlling oils therefore I would not recommend it to people with combination or oily skin. It's not mine so I won't repurchase.

Lumene Matifying and Retexturizing Primer for Oily/Combination Skin ($17.96): My first and all time favorite primer that unfortunately is only sold in Northern Europe I think (Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway). It has a thick gel consistency, a bit thicker than The Porefessional. As it says in the tub, it's best suitable on combination to oily skin and it has done wonders on my skin, it soothes pores and makes foundation last a long long time without feeling heavy. I will repurchase it as soon as I can.

Benefit The Porefessional ($30.00): I had mixed feelings about this primer for a while. It's a great primer for all skin types and it's amazing how it works on the pores, it soothes the pores beautifully creating an even canvas. It helps the foundation stay but it's not enough for my oily skin, I need something stronger like Lumene. However I'll keep repurchasing it cause its a great primer.

MUA Matte Perfect Primer ($6.00): I am not really impressed about this product, it has the same consistency as The Porefessional but it not as good as it. It does sooth pores a bit and it helps controlling oils but it feels a bit greasy as well. I only use this primer If I have to be out less than 6 hours cause otherwise my foundation will start to melt. I won't be repurchasing it.

What's your favorite primer?

Lumene Matifying and Retexturizing Primer for Oily/Combination Skin ($17.96): Mi primer primer y mi favorito.
